The Estonian composer Arvo Pärt is one of the living composers whose work is performed most often in the world today, and his catalogue contains numerous chamber music and choral pieces.   For tonight’s program it came naturally to link his name to J.S. Bach, and the pairing offers various interpretations, with the Järvi brothers’ Estonian string quartet, and the Ars Cantica Choir under their conductor Marco Berrini.
