Maria Pia De Vito e Julian Mazzariello have worked together for a long time, and its logical continuation was for Julian in 2008 to join the group “So right”, a lasting tribute to Joni Mitchell, in a trio with Enzo Pietropaoli. The affinity between the two artists and their love for jazz, from the standards to American composers’ great songs, for improvisation in different languages – from Brazilian music to contemporary composers – marks this duo’s variety, always surprising.
Tonight’s concert will certainly involve De Vito’s latest recording project, Dreamers, issued by Jando Music, in an entertaining free flow between the various streams of their musical inspiration. As they themselves put it: “This is a collection of American song-writing icons: Paul Simon, David Crosby, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and our ever-beloved Joni Mitchell”.
Ticket office in the concert hall opens and public can enter one hour before the concert starts.
