The Loggia del Cashmere on Isola Madre is the original venue for an en plein air concert. It is situated in front of a wonderful garden overlooked by a huge Cashmere cyprus.
It is reached for the concert thanks to a boat organized on the occasion by the Festival, leaving Stresa main pier.

By car:
from Milan / Turin: with the motorway A26 direction Gravellona Toce - exit Carpugnino, following the road down to the lake.
from Domodossola / Sempione: by the SS 33 direction Milan - exit Baveno / Stresa, following the main road for 5 km direction Stresa.
from Locarno: by the SS 34 direction Verbania, driving along the lake towards Stresa.

By train:
Stresa railway station in on Milan - Domodossola/Geneva - Berne line. All the most important trains stop in Stresa.

By plane:
The nearest airport is Milan Malpensa, away 50 km from Stresa. There is a network of frequent buses to connect the airport to Milan railway station.

INFORMATION

Ticket office opens at the imbarcadero di Stresa one hour before the beginning of the concert, the boat leaves Stresa 30 minutes later.
Latecomers will not be admitted into the Loggia until there is a suitable break in the music.
The use of cameras, video cameras and recording equipment is strictly forbidden. Mobile phones and watch alarms should be turned off.
