Together with the Stresa Congress Hall, the exclusive Borromee Islands are historic venues of the Festival, and stand like gems mounted on the watery mirror facing Stresa.

isolabella_p.jpgThe Prince and Princess Borromeo open the doors of their sumptuous palace to welcome artists and audience in the magnificent Tapestry Hall of Palazzo Borromeo on Isola Bella.

On Isola Madre performances take place in the Isola Madre in front of a magnificent garden overlooked by an enormous and luxuriant cypress from Cashmere, Europe's biggest specimen.

santa_caterina_p.jpg On the Lombard bank of the lake Maggiore, the Hermitage Santa Caterina del Sasso represents one of the most striking views of the lake, built on a cliff falling sheer to the watery mirror. It is reached on the occasion of the concert on a little private ferry-boat after a short ride allowing to contemplate the beautiful perspective.

All these venues are reached by ferry on call exclusively for the Festival, after a short, inspiring ride which turns into a kind of "aperitif" to a very special evening.
