L'ingegnere milanese Giovanni Medeot è il nuovo Presidente dell'Associazione Settimane Musicali di Stresa - Festival Internazionale. Il Consiglio di Amministrazione dell'Associazione, riunito venerdì 3 marzo nella sede di via Carducci, ha espresso il proprio voto all'unanimità. Giovanni Medeot, da anni membro del Consiglio delle Settimane Musicali, succede all'avvocato Giovan Battista Benvenuto, giunto al termine del suo mandato settennale.
