Si riunirà mercoledì 30 e giovedì 31 maggio la giuria del 3° Concorso Internazionale di Composizione “Settimane Musicali di Stresa” 2007.
La Giuria Internazionale, presieduta da Ivan Fedele e sotto la direzione artistica di Gianandrea Noseda, è formata dal polacco Zygmunt Krauze, dall’ungherese Laszlo Sary e dallo svizzero Michel Tabachnik.
Il Concorso premierà, con due borse di studio, due lavori inediti e mai eseguiti: una composizione libera per orchestra della durata tra gli 8 e i 12 minuti e un'orchestrazione di sei Lieder di Schubert. Le opere saranno inoltre proposte al pubblico del Festival 2007.
L’orchestrazione verrà eseguita il 20 agosto al Palazzo dei Congressi di Stresa dall’Orchestra delle Settimane Musicali di Stresa diretta da Gianandrea Noseda; i Lieder verranno interpretati dal soprano Barbara Frittoli.
La composizione invece potrà essere ascoltata, sempre al Palazzo dei Congressi dall’Orchestra del Festival diretta da Noseda, il 22 agosto, insieme allo stravinskiano Apollon Musagète e a Pierino e il lupo narrato da Michele Placido. Il brano sarà inoltre pubblicato da Rai Trade Edizioni Musicali.
