Stresa Festival 2007 - Giovanni Medeot PDF Print E-mail

In the 46th edition of Stresa Festival we will musically go through rocky, grass-covered and acquatic paths that connect the different fairy-tale localities of the Festival, while being inspired by the theme of the year: Tales from dreams to reality, passing from Schubert's Lieder to Peter and the Wolf by Prokof'ev, from Mozart's La clemenza di Tito to A Midsummer Night's Dream by Mendelssohn, to Berlioz's Fantastic Symphony.
Being open once more to young composers (also thanks to the 3rd International Composition Competition) and to young interpreters, the 'Musical Academy of Stresa' will organize the 2nd Workshop of musical invention - Stresa EARlab and the Masterclasses for Piano and for Cello. My wish is for you to be many to accompany us in this summer musical trip.
