The past century has been characterized by the mondialization of wars and ideologies: tragedies that have left bloody traces and that have profoundly influenced artists and, in our case, composers. 
Alternation of Shadows and Lights, of revolt and passive acceptation; sometimes an ambiguous conformism has overpowered and hidden internal opposition.
Furthermore, it has been a period of intense experimentation, an experimentation that will find its space in the third International Workshop of Musical Invention - Stresa EARlab.
During this 47th edition of Stresa Festival, we invite you to accompany us in this journey through a time that has just ended.
