Eight solo violoncellists, chamber musicians and concert performers combine their energy and their dreams in original, surprising programs. Ô-Celli is a human adventure launched by Sébastien Walnier and Alexandre Beauvoir, grouping around them solo cellists, orchestra or chamber music performers, who all share the passion for their instrument. The vibrations unique to the cello multiplied by eight produce a ‘cathedral of sound’ in works arranged and re-styled by the musicians.
Since 2011, when the group gave their first concerts, their slogan has been ‘pleasure’! Ô-Celli’s members are certainly classical music players, but above all they are people of our time, open to the world and its diversity.  Their concerts are invitations to travel, in time and styles. From Verdi to Queen, passing by Strauss or Piazzolla – as Michel Legrand puts it, ‘in the end it’s always the music that wins’.
