Uri Caine
Birds On Fire
The American pianist and composer Uri Caine is no newcomer to reworking classic music masterpieces. Over the years, he has offered a vast public his personal interpretation of major classical pieces, viewed with his own flair and talent for improvisation. Bach, Schumann, Mahler, and today Stravinsky, are the composers who have inspired Caine to give a new look to music that continuously fascinates our sensibility and tastes. Every time Uri Caine comes on stage
– this evening as a solo pianist – is an original event, and his widely varied audiences are always stunned.
Tonight’s concert will be in the open air, on the Lungolago La Palazzola alongside Lake Maggiore in Stresa.
The Festival has run its July program here for several years now, and it is one of the most enjoyable venues in the area.
