Stresa Festival 2025 will feature Mozart’s Don Giovanni performed in the captivating surroundings of Isola dei Pescatori as an immersive spectacle. This is how the playwright and director Gianmaria Aliverta envisioned, imagined and wanted it. For over a decade along with VoceAllOpera he introduced this innovative approach to opera around the world. The action revolves around the viewer being in close contact with the singers; the audience’s perspective is completely changed for the first time becoming immersed softly in the story, experiencing all the nuances that the protagonists are living thereby removing the barriers between spectator and stage. The performers will sing alongside the audience, who will live to the full the experience of being within an inch from the events told by the duo Mozart/ Da Ponte.
