LORENZO SENNI. EUREKA!

Lorenzo Senni is an Italian composer and electronic music producer, born in Cesena and active between Italy and the international scene. His work focuses on the deconstruction of 1990s trance and dance music, stripped of its rhythmic element and transformed into tense, repetitive melodic structures. This approach, which he has defined as “pointillistic trance,” has made him a recognizable and influential figure in the contemporary electronic scene. Throughout his career, he has performed at some of the most important international festivals and cultural spaces, including Sónar and Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Dekmantel in Amsterdam, MUTEK, Unsound, and Club To Club. His music has also been presented in institutional contexts such as the Tate Modern in London, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Triennale in Milan. In 2025, he was invited to participate in the Venice Biennale Musica. Senni releases music on Warp Records and founded the label Presto!? Records. Among his most significant collaborations is with Caterina Barbieri, with whom he shares a formal exploration of sound and melodic structures, as well as projects developed in dialogue with visual artists such as Ed Atkins, John Divola, Anne de Vries, and Friedrich Kunath.
